Total DIY novice here with a bad back and I have a downstairs cupboard measuring approx 8' x 5' which I am doing out but the floor needs levelling probably about 1cm thickness, maybe less, before I lay any lino or tiles. Can anyone give me advice on the best, easiest, cheapest floor screed that I can pick up from B&Q or Wickes (near me) and any advice on how to lay it as I have no idea whatsoever, please bear in mind I have a bad back so I need this to be a fairly straight forward job if at all possible.
