Hello all.
My friend has just got a softwood log cabin.
At the moment it is just untreated softwood, which needs something painting on it to protect it.
She want's it to be painted in a light green and cream.
Is there a good base she can use and then apply the finish colour on top, or a good coloured paint that will do it all?
Will it want primer, undercoat and then finish coat?
I've used leyland truguard which seems really weather resistant, but I'm not sure if it'll be suitable for timber?
Thanks for your help.
This is roughly the sort of finish she's after:
