I'm going to board over the bathroom floorboards prior to laying Vinyl flooring and wondering which type of board I should use.
I originally thought of using WBP plywood but I have read comments that it's not as waterproof as it used to be 10+ years ago and just use ordinary plywood instead, which of course is cheaper.
Once the Vinyl floor is down I'm going to seal around the perimeter with clear sanitary sealant so the floor should be watertight - which it needs to be as we have a shower cubicle.
Any thoughts and advice ?
thanks
PS if anyone has any suggestions on the thickness of Vinyl flooring to use eg: 2.3mm 3mm or even 4mm, let me have your advice on that too as I'm not convinced the thickest will be the best - but I might be wrong
