Which sewing machine

Hi
My wife has problems with her sewing machine she has a Janome and has difficulty sewing stretchy material

Could any one recommend a good sewing machine which can sew stretch material like jersey fabric and Nylon etc ?

You have to set the machine up correctly to sew stretch fabric.

I seem to remember my wife had a Phaff which had an extra foot to help with stretch material but since those days things have moved on.

No one machine can do all I know my wife uses an overlocker for some work a cheap simple machine for other work and a machine complete with hoops for embroidery.

Having a top foot and swing needle may not work so not sure what is now on the market.

there are devices like shown which are designed to advance the material from top and bottom as an add on.

However I watch my wife and it would seem getting the setting right is an art.
