Which shop, be it trade or otherwise have you found that the products are consistently poor?

It seems that whenever I buy anything at Wilkinson I always regret it

I bought 12 spotlight lamps last week which 5 blew in as many days and I took them back for a refund. Also bought a broom that lost its strands, a silicone gun that broke and weedkiller that did not kill the weeds.



Need to stop being a cheapskate and shop elsewhere!

Not sure about the shop but Xray glasses have always been a disappointment, I thought they would have perfected them by now

Sodium chlorate is a chemical - it doesn't matter who sells it - it's just the same. You used it incorrectly (it rained).

Their caulking guns are good - never had a problem (bet you were trying to use old caulk)

And their paint is some of the best around.

Anyway, if you don't like them - don't shop there.

Wilko's are low end as are a lot of Wickes products. But you get what you pay for.

An awful lot of caulking guns bought today are tat. A window fixer used mine t'uther day and was impressed and recognized that it was 'old'.

er... Poundland.

Although I got a putty knife there last week, never had one of those before. Its actually quite handy so I may get another.
& 4 rolls of masking tape is nice & chep even though its poor quality.

Won't stick to anything until you put newspapers up at the windows when decorating.

Just to add to the list that their hacksaw blades that I bought months ago are rubbish too and don't cut!

That really is the last straw and am going to stick to the sheds.
