A lot of the hinges in my new house are broken.. I planned to replace them myself, but don't have time, so I paid a guy to do the most urgent ones for me and its a good job.
My current hinges are just over 15" which is an odd size and I assumed he would fit 16".. But he said that he fits 12" as they are stronger as the arms are shorter..
Is this the case? I am now inspired to try doing one myself. But dont' know whether to go for a 12" like him, or a 16"?
