Which TRV

I have normally purchased Drayton TRV3 and TRV4 valves but over time most of them have stuck open (not stuck closed as many have reported)and have been replaced. I've tried the unsticking technique as described in the Wiki, but so far this has not worked for me.

My question is:

Is this a problem with all TRVs or only certain brands/models. If not all brands are affected, what would be the best TRV to replace my Drayton TRVs with when they fail?

its a problem with water quality in the system. try flushing it out before buying more trv's.

Honeywell make a good TRV, fitted hundreds only had one get stuck
