Which way should these doors be hinged?

Or a single door with two full height sidelights. Or a single door and bigger windows - and gives more floor space for wellies etc, if that's the point of this porch.

Hmm, yeah, youre making me rethink this. Ive been so fixated on having french doors that I hadnt realised the ramifications. Perhaps a single door (fully glazed) and two wider windows either side.

Perhaps I need to look on google images again and get some ideas.

My house, a semi, originally had an open porch.
When I moved in, the porch was enclosed with a pair of glazed doors opening in, with a fixed glazed panel on each side. The doors are a tight fit when using one, but fine for normal pedestrian, both open for moving boxes.
Several houses had identical porches, so either it was an add on by the original builders or someone hit the estate soon after it was built.

My next door neighbour replaced his with a patio door. - could that be an option?
He could lock his, but didn’t often as he retained his front door. Is this a porch or extension?

I had considered patio doors. Just seems 'odd' having a patio door as a main entrance. Perhaps thats just me.

This started off as being a porch. But I dont haev a downstairs toilet (4 bedroom house). There nowhere downstairs for me to put a toilet, so having it in the porch seems logical. So - as far as Building Control is concerned - its an extension. (despite only being 6 square metres). If it was a bigger space, having patio doors would be a no-brainer. But becuase its such a small space (6 square metres minus the WC), Im on the fence about it.
