Hi there,

I've tried finding an answer to this with the search with no luck, so just a quick question...

I'm laying Timbermate Excel as an underlay for my engineered floor. Do I lay the underlay the same direction as the flooring or at 90 degrees? Or does it now make any difference?

Many thanks

I always run at 90 degrees, but check with the manufacturers recommendations first.

Hi there. Thanks for your reply.

The instructions don't appear to say which direction to run the underlay. I seem to remember reading to lay it the same way bit I can't remember where.

Anymore thoughts? Or doesn't it matter?

Thanks :)
