Twin and earth is the flat cable used in internal wiring. That is not the type you need.
You need a round, flexible 3-core cable with an overall diameter of 6mm.
Don’t get confused, the 1.5mm you refer to is actually 1.5mm² - this refers to the cross sectional area of one of the live conductors.

The Wickes cables is huge. You need something like this

If you don’t need 50metres then Sfx do this:

'Round twin and earth' is called 3 core flexible cable.

The measurement of 6mm. diameter is purely to ensure a water-tight fitting and nothing to do with the wire size, whether 1, 1.5 or 2.5 square millimetres .

 Actually went for the 1.5mm as opposed to the 0.75mm, but yeah I hadn't read your post in it's entirety obviously:LOL: Guessing I'm ok with 1.5mm right? And yes I found the black instead of blue!
