whirlpool adg550 problem

Had my dishwasher for 4 years with no problems. Woke up this morning and its been through its cycle but its still making the noise it usually makes at the beginning and ending of the cycles. I have reset it and it starts beeping to signal end of cycle but it still makes the noise in the background.

Is this a drainage problem? I have pulled the filter out and cleaned it.

The noise is quite monotone and sounds like its trying to get did of water.

You should be seeing a repeating series of flashes on the start LED when a fault occurs. Count the flashes + note the service number on the door sticker...Post both here.

Ok cheers mate. Ill do it on Monday when I return from my weekend away. Will the start/reset button just be flashing?

Yes...in a repeating pattern; x flashes - pause - x flashes.
