Help.I have an integrated Whirlpool dishwasher which has stopped heating up.When the cycle has finished the dishes are still wet and are also cold.Is there any way I can remedy this myself and how much will it cost me to go through Whirlpool if need be.
Also there is water built up under the filters which gets smelly.

Faulty heater, faulty NTC or if it goes all the way through the program without bringing up an error code, faulty pcb.

Thanks.Where is the pcb located and can I replace it myself or do I need to get a specialist in?

Depends on the age of the machine, older ones are in the base, newer ones are in the door.
Easy enough to replace but expensive. You'd have to make sure that the problem is the pcb before purchase.
Heater faulty isn't a common problem on these, ntc is very common and pcb would be next on my list.

Thanks for your help.I'll probably just go back to washing by hand- worse luck- until I can afford a new dishwasher.Cheers

i have the same problem with a whirlpool adg 7540.
what is NTC and PCB? someone told me it had to be the element or thermostat? how do i check? good with my hands so changing parts is no problem. ta
