I'm assuming that I will need a fused cooker switch.
Can I run this cooker from a spur off an existing socket, If yes does the spur need to be another socket (to plug the oven in) or a junction box.

For what, exactly?

Up to about 3kW you could use a standard 13A fused plug, which could be plugged into a spur socket. Does the oven come with a fitted plug? If not a socket and plug, then you would need to use a fused spur connection unit, like this

You must make sure, though, that the power can be isolated by a switch that is completely accessible, like this: http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_In...e_Mk_Accessories/Wall_Switches_A_4/index.html

I'd recommend something like this,

connected to something like this behind the oven

and plug the oven in.
