Some of my newly installed TRV's, but not all of them seem to get a whistle, at a certain level, then when you turn the valve slightly it would go. This is pretty annoying especiallyat night.

Any ideas?

I am waiting with bated breath, mine do exactly the same thing.

Cheap crap T/valves, where did u get them, Wickes, B&Q, ? you will probably have to fit an auto byepass to get them to shut up or move them onto return pipe with arrow facing in proper direction. I hope you left at least one radiator free.
Danfoss RasD with adjusable internals are a good bet but are dearer than cheap crap.

Bulldog = Peglers. Used to = good but they went to the bulls.

TRY turning down the lockshield vales on the rads in question. It might work.

They came from Screwfix. Not the cheapest but not the dearest. Altrium.

Thanks Eddie for the hijack.
