Hi, my workshop door has a multipoint lock, like on PVC doors. As does the house.
On the workshop latch, the sticking out bit has an extra lever, that positively retracts the bolt when it bears on the staple. The black bit in my photo. This means the door latches with the slightest pressure. Does anyone know what that function would be called? I want to see if I can fit the same to the kitchen door, which really doesn't want to latch unless you turn the handle when the door closes.
