were you not once a questioning child once to your parents or teacher when you couldn't find the answer? Is that cheating? Admittedly I could have looked harder in the regs but I was looking in all the wrong places but I came here asking for the answer hoping someone would point me in the right direction. Which they did!!

In the end I found the answer myself with a great big shove from the forum

But I did want to know where the answer was and noone (except for the last post- but thank you) has given me the answer outright.

Maybe I should make it clear that with these self exams I am able to phone or contact a tutor at the collage, but I came here because I know people have an awful lot of knowledge and I get a quicker response.

I understand if people have grievance against me asking questions I don't know the answer to, I just don't like being made out to be a cheat.

I won't tell you but it is in BS7671:2008 - look in the index for weight. You'll see it then points you towards mass. Look up mass in the index........I can't make it any easier without actually giving you the answer!

You have access to BS7671:2008 don't you?

I followed Gary's clue and found it in 10 seconds.

First clue is you're looking for something involving weight so try looking there in the index (BS7671:2008) and follow your nose

Lets help a bit more.

Go to the index (its at the back of the red book)
The key word is WEIGHT
What does it say there??
