This got me thinking, is there any documented evidence re who our best PM has been so far in a socioeconomic sense. Here is what I found (granted only two articles!)
What are your thoughts, who in your eyes has been our best all things considered?
Clement Attlee and Margaret Thatcher as Britain's best modern prime ministers socioeconomically, though their approaches were exact opposites. Attlee built the post-war welfare state and the NHS, while Thatcher introduced free-market capitalism, privatization, and deregulation.

A new Ipsos online poll shows that Winston Churchill is the top-ranked Prime Minister since the Second World War in terms of those believing they did a ‘good job’, followed by Margaret Thatcher, then Tony Blair.
