DJM. Everything looks very good to me but could you (or anyone) kindly answer a, possibly, unrelated query. Am I right in saying that you have an Economy Seven "white" meter which is switched on for the seven hours, by that adjacent mechanical time switch (Horstmann) ? I have an identical arrangement and the time switch is sealed and running to GMT, and cannot be adjusted (by the customer) but, my supplier, British Gas, insists that I need make no allowance for "summertime" usage of cheap electricity.
I know that I get 7 hours of cheap rate electricity from 12.30 am to 7.30 am during standard GMT. However, during the summertime clock setting,(One hour advanced) my Economy Seven period is from1.30 am to 8.30 am and I make allowances for the switching on of any devices, ie, washing machine, heaters etc. I cannot get British Gas to agree and they tell me that the "white" meter is adjusted automatically. I know that some later types are adjusted automatically (radio control?) but mine definitely is not. Typically, apart from an email, replied to by someone who could not understand what a mechanical time switch is, I get no answers to letters or emails to British Gas.
