why does my signature link keep disapearing ?

Each time I come on this site I notice that the link I use in my signature has vanished from my profile. I've been using --url=http://www.cleveleyscarpetcentre.co.uk]Cane Furniture, Lancashire[/url

anyone got any idea why this is........or can you suggest a different way to produce the same effect that might have a chance of working the next time I come on the site ?

(and yes, I do click 'submit' and 'save' when I've updated my profile)

the answer is quite simple.

you did not read the forum rules, if you did you will see you are not allowed to have a url as a signature see item 7
