Why is Trump so keen on Putin

When Napoleon invaded Russia, the Russians burned down Moscow themselves.
Flattening Moscow might not achieve very much .

Yeah it will it flattens the place along with other major cities that would be targeted

Agreed the UK would be wiped out

But as Oliver reed said in the film the gladiator

“ ultimately we are all dead men “

( Nixon / mad man theory)

I now think we have a big problem with Trump, he isn't a great leader that we all thought he was. I am seeing more things that I don't like more than what I do like about him.

Aggressors should be stopped, turning a blind eye doesn't help anyone.

There are hundreds of billions of frozen Russian assets in European banks. That would buy an awful lot of weapons as a starter.

France will use interest from frozen Russian assets to fund an additional €195 million in arms for Ukraine, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu said. @ Politico.eu

"In addition, this year, thanks to the interest on frozen Russian assets, we will mobilize a new envelope of €195 million, which will make it possible to supply 155-mm shells as well as AASM glide bombs that arm the Ukrainian Mirage 2000s," Lecornu added.

the ECB are generally against this as it would undermine faith in the Euro as a reserve currency, especially at a time when theres a chance to take the place of the dollar as the primary global reserve currency

Also there is concerns countries like China and Saudi might dump Eurozone govt bonds

but the oranges ones move to throw Ukraine under a bus whilst becoming Putins best buddie could well get the decision to use the €200 billion in Russian central bank reserves currently frozen in Belgium to fund Ukraine

great leader that we all thought he was
You mean the Reform party supporting numpties that think Trump is great

the bulk of British people think he is a cee nut, which is exactly what he is

A dam site more than ours, they have been storing them up for years
there has been massive corruption in the Russian military and Russia doesnt have anything like the equipment it thought it did

if it did have all the equipment it needed wouldnt be busy buying it from Iran and North Korea

There is an article in the Telegraph today saying that the F-35 might have a kill switch. Even if not, I have just read that the US can make it impossible to maintain them if they turn awkward.

So, I'm asking those who know a lot more than me, what are other critical bits of kit we can't do without from the US. How important are GPS and Star Link. Will Galileo replace these someday. What about spy satellites and other intelligence gathering systems.

In the words of dads army

“ don’t panic”

The UK only need to get one ballistic nuke on target

To turn Moscow into the biggest rubble site in history

Un inhabitable for decades ?? Millions will be brown bread in the strike vaporised

Than millions of casualties from the fall out

We definitely need to retain our nuclear deterrent, even though the lefty tree-hugging wokies would like us to do away with it.
