Just wondered if someone could give me some advice...
I noticed that in a flat that I own regardless of the fact that the flat is
not currently occupied and that no applicances are in use (and most of
the RCD circuit breakers are switched off) there is an
electrical consumption of roughly 1kWh per day.
Does anyone know why that could happen even if nothing is
in use?
Any help would be great!
Thanks

fridges? freezers? alarm clock? teeny weeny LED lights on FCUs, electronic switches, alarm system, heating system, PIR light outside, anything left on standby.

Why turn MOST of the MCBs off if the flat is totally unoccupied and NOTHING is using electricity? Surely you would just turn the main switch off? There must be something you're forgetting.

He may be leaving the lighting on so as not to break his neck in the dark.....

Try switching off altogether and keep an eye on the meter.
