This is under my floorboards ...

This installation art was produced by the half wits who put in the new boiler (before my time).


Bottom left, bottom and top of photo: Pipes to rads and a toilet hot water supply

Top left of photo: Boiler supply pipes come in through the ceiling 4m away from the boiler. I can only assume that they had lost the ability to lift a couple of boards and run the piped in the void.

Right of photo: splices into the original pipework. Fair enough.

Middle of photo: special needs cowboy having snorted some Class 1 rockwool gets to work trying to cross the pipes over as many times as possible in a confined space. The amount of planning to produce this must have kept the poor bugger busy for days before he lurched into his creative phase.

I have great sympathy for the sparky who managed to run cabling.

For sure, but looks like they've used yorkies and then plastered the outside of the joint with more solder lol

Nothing like belt n braces and then some string and chains for good measure
