Widening Cage Door

Hi guys,

Quick question - would it be possible to make the front doors on this cage larger? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008IJQMEI/ref=pe_208871_48805531_em_1p_0_ti Say, cutting the bars between the two doors and securing the middle part to those doors so that it all opened up together? If that makes sense... Would it make the cage less structurally sound? How would I secure the middle part to the existing doors?

Are there any other ways I can do it?

Are the two centre doors hinged separately, and do they join at the middle?

They're hinged separately. I'll get some detailed/close up pictures of the doors on my current cages tomorrow as you're right, it is quite hard to see them in that picture!

You will struggle.

You'd need more bar than there is in the removed bit to make a new door.
