WiFi dropouts

Using my N130 the wifi connection seems to cycle dropping out every minute os so for about 20 seconds if its not transferring data.

The diagnostics suggest that its a firewall problem but this is switched off and in any case when its transferring data it works fine.

The wifi is fine because it works Ok with another laptop.

Any ideas?

Aggressive power saving?

I would doubt it because it continues to work fine except from having no internet connection!

.. Which would be a sign of overly aggressive power saving on the wireless card..

Check the settings in the device manager.

I will see how it works at home tonight but it did work there ok before.

But of course as we know settings seem to have a habit or resetting themselves!
