Will moving this porch light damage render on my house?

I am moving into a new build in a few weeks. I've just noticed that my porch light has been placed in a ridiculous place, squashed right up to the canopy, whereas all the neighbours lights are below the canopy frame.

I'm asking if this can be fixed but I'm worried about the damage to the render. There was a hole drilled through the brick before the house was rendered to thread through to the light, obviously in the wrong place. I'm guessing another hole would need to be drilled and this hole would need patched up as well as the fixtures to secure the light. I don't want it to be noticeable and worried it will look damaged.

Thanks.
