Will this pump do?

15/60 will be fine, good luck getting the old one off though :D Looks like it may need the blow lamp

for explanation of the numbers.

I would suggest you replace the valves as well, its highly unlikely the exisiting valves will shut off sufficiently to allow you to change the pump, if they do you have to undo them from the pump! You will have to drain the system sufficiently to change the pump so replace the valves with it.

These are the better type I think: http://www.bhl.co.uk/product/22MM_X_112_PUMP_GATE_VALVE_

Dont forget to top up your inhibitor after you've refilled and are watertight!

the myson will work/fit so will the Grundfoss 15/60.
IMHO the grunny is a far superior quality pump.

Grundfoss 15-50 is the equivalent of what you have now, only much better quality.

the CP53 is the same as the 15/50
the CP63 is the same as the 15/60

any will do the job in a standard house.
as said the grundfos is superior to the circulators/myson CP range

a tip for removing the large nuts is to tap it all round with a hammer first, then try and unscrew it

are the valves in the link you posted fit my system? as I see theres quite a few different ones, also how many do I need? also is there any other parts I need for a new pump apart from a new pump a valves?

Thanks

All those valves should fit the pump, it depends on the size of the pipework either side of the pump as to which you need. The gate type are said to be better than the ball type, it looks like 22mm (poss 3/4") pipes in your pic so the one in the link will be fine. You will need a pair, one either side of the pump. Should the pipes be 3/4" the 22mm olives will need swapping for 3/4" olives, but any decent plumbers merchant should have those for a few pence each, if your plumber hasn't got any.

Shouldnt be anything else you need, unless your system contains inhibitor. If the system is drained it is strongly advised to add fresh inhibitor to prevent sludging of the system.
