Hi,

So we have these current windows (pictured) I believe they are aluminium? Few weeks ago I realised that almost all of them are misaligned by quite a reasonable amount of mm whereby one side is flush however the other almost leaves a open gap. The hinges themselves don't look bent, open and close fine, I believe they have been incorrectly installed. This is a rental property so not looking to "fix" this but to manage it for winter periods that's all.

What sort of draught weather proofing can/should I use?

On previous years I have used these stick on W and D shaped weather strips, my only issue with them is removal whereby they leave the sticky residue behind and removal is an absolute nightmare, I'm mentioning removal as they tend to get mouldy during/after winter.

Appreciate any advice!
