This section has old PB on thermalite and based om the section coming out its wrecked the thermalite.
I will be tiling up to the window.
In the second picture there is some 30mm gap between thermalite and where they splodged adhesive on before.
Im reluctant to remove the PB as it runs around the frame to the other side of the frame, and above is absolutely solid with adhesive underneath.
I will be adding in stud around the soil stack so i was thinking to run that stud with the tilebacker in line with the existing PB and tile across and around inside the frame. It then gives me 600mm for a toilet unit. Not sure if ill do that or tile one.
Main concern is moisture ingress though around the window
What can I do here to avoid issues?
Any advice is welcome!
