Wipers stopped working

They just rattling and won't work, anything obvious?

Ok so tightened the loose bolt in pix and seems to have solved it.

Hadn't checked water in header tank for two months and had dropped maybe three quarters or half an inch dunno if should be worried

If the nut comes loose again put some thread lock on it.

Ideally there should be no coolant loss at all........however, that amount of loss does not indicate anything nasty like a head gasket, more like a tiny weep on a hose or seal somewhere.
Keep it topped up, have a look round for anything obvious that shows a crust - often red.
