Extension currently underway and to be wired up soon. Should I dot and dab teh plasterboard and get the sparkie in to wire (chasing channels in the plasterboard, or is it better to wire before board fitting (and try to find sockets etc afterwards)?

You don't chase into the walls.Seems easier to do it afterwards as you've just got to cut plasterboard to run wires, rather than chase into the walls, but I'll get the sparkie in first then.

Wire before - install backboxes then the boarder can cut out the board to fit over the backbox
