wire up new thermostat

I'm not quite sure why you are asking, because the circuit diagrams you have posted clearly show where the wiring for each thermostat goes.
Old Stat
Red (Live) 1
Yellow (Switched Live) 2
Blue (Neutral) 4
New Stat
Red (Live) 1
Yellow (Switched Live) 3
Blue (Neutral) 2
Earth to earth
Old Stat
