Hi
just had wireless router fitted in my loft, my PC has a wireless card but the guy who set it up said there was no aerial so he used a USB card. My question is, should I use the USB or will it be better to get the aerial screwed in and use that.

Why is it in the loft?

How big is your house?

doubt you will get much better reception, the card should be more stable than usb however.

How come you didn't opt for a cable if its just a desktop machine?

Which wireless router?
Which PC?
Which "wireless card"?
Which "USB card"?

I don't understand what you mean by "get the aerial screwed in" - can you explain?
