is there such a thing as an easy to set thermostat on the market.
my friend has a Salus RT500RF and as he is not a Philadelphia lawyer
he cant understand it.

Yes some have a dial with numbers on that you turn to an arrow on the housing. Simples

Do you really mean thermostat? or are you referring to a programmer / timeswitch?

probably ,its called a programmable thermostat.his boiler is in the loft so not easy to get at.

I find most Danfoss products easy to use and have nice features like automatic time changing when the clocks go forward / backward and a handy holiday feature that will turn the heating on the day you are due home from hoilday.

The Honeywell CM927 is easy to use and better made than the Salus.

I wouldn't expect a Philadelphia lawyer to understand the instruction of any thermostat, programmable or not, as they are not written in legalese.

"whereas the temperature of the first part is greater than the temperature of the second part" etc etc.
