First .... I understand I'm meant to consult an electrician, but i would like to attempt to set everything up for an electrician to check out... My boyfriend isn't interested in DIY and therefore motivating him to help is not easy so I do everything myself... helps with the budget also!
I would like to know how to wire up 4 x 240v 50w down lighters (which will be part of a shelving lighting effect) to a plug... or better still... to a dimmer switch (not part of the mains... will be direct to the plug) and then a plug socket.
I have so far bought the down lighters and have two types of wiring.. picture attached.
I have no idea what the jargon is put I learn quickly
If anyone could help, I'd be so grateful... I don't want to cut big holes out of the shelves if I cant wire up the down lighters.
