I have recently fitted a new kitchen and had an extra plug socket dropped in for the cooker hood.

Am I now right in thinking that a cooker hood will need to be wired into an FCU?

I checked a friends before hand and thier cooker hood had a plug attached.

Can I just change the socket to an FCU??

Regards

Terry

Yes or wire the lead on to a plug with a 3a fuse, eitherway is ok
