WIRING A COOKER

Phoned a local electrician up to see if he can do this for me but no joy before xmas - also tells me I cant put a socket on the front of this box as it spurs off to the hob socket. He also says I will need to run another spur to a seperate location in order to put a socket there.
And I thought I was confused before!
