Hi All
Purchased and fitted a high level brake light unit on my Nissan Serena, two wires, one black which is ground and a red and green which goes to a power supply.
The nearest supply would be from the brake lights, the brake lights are dual purpose with the side lights. Wired to the bulbs as follows....
Drivers side
1 green and red into connector then out as green and yellow
1 green and red into connector then out as green and white
1 black into connector then out black (ground)
Passenger side
1 green and red into connector then out as green and yellow
1 red and blue into connector then out as green and white
1 black into connector then out as black (ground)
Do I scotchlok the green and red before it enters the connector or
Can I scotchlok to the green and yellow assuming this is the power cable, I will test light first.
Does it matter which side do I choose, passenger or drivers.
Would you recommend a seperate ground supply
Any advice would be truly appreciated
