to AC mains circuit (connector socket), an
isolator with at least 3 mm separation on all
poles must be used.
SN 5 S und SN 10 S:
The unit must not be installed with fixed
connection cable.

These are from the manual...... is it saying it should be installed with a plug? I was going to intall it with a fused spur. Also what size flex and fuse does one need for a 2kw heater as it doesnt mention fuse sizes?

Hi, it'a saying - a flex must be used ( i would use 1.5mm heat resistant), a double pole switch i.e. FCU and a 10a or 13a fuse fitted will be fine.

DS

The original is already wired into a fused spur my plan is to remove the old heater and flex and put a new longer flex into the existing spur. Just through me a bit with its terminology!

Thanks!!
