Hi, I'm in the process of building a conservatory, can I run armoured cable in the cavity? just that nearest connection point is adj to the door opening, and therefore i cannot run cable along blocks that aren't there. Any ideas? :D

You're not allowed to run any cable in a cavity, certainly above the DPC, anymore. Building Regs Part C. Can't suggest anything else without seeing plans.

So how do you traverse the cavity when taking cables in/out of the building?

That's a bit different from "running" a cable in a cavity.
