Wiring help please

Sorry for the absence, but the other guys have nearly sorted it out. :)

Here is what you do:

Disconnect all wires to the old stat at the junction box - brown in 1, Blue in 2, Green/Yellow in 5.

Link T4 (black wire) to T5 (white wire).

Remove existing programmer

Fit new programmer to existing backplate.

Job done.

The old stat and cable can be completely removed.

D_Hailsham your a gent. Saved me time and money. Dont apologise, im sure im not alone in saying your very helpful with very good detail so even a fool like me can follow your instructions.

I will try it when i get home and let you know how i got on.

Just to clarify.

Disconnect the old thermostat wiring.

Black wire in no 4 and white wire in no 5 which is of the valve.

Do i put them both into no 4 as that is not being used for anything else?

Whilst i had the programmer off i took a photo in case a wire in the wiring block is wrong because we assumed it was ina certain place on the backplate of the programmer. Pics attached.

Everything seems OK - apart from the installer using Earth wires to carry voltage!
