Has anybody ever put up several security lights, but having say 3 lights all wired up from the same switch but when one goes off they all go off, someway of wiring the PIR on any of the lights so they go off together?

from the switch wire up the pir then wire 1 security light to the pir. then link the 3security lights.

will draw you a diagram if you require 1.

hope this helps,
carlos

When you say go off do you mean light up?

do you mean: all 3 lights have a PIR and when any PIR is activated, all 3 lights light up?

I think this may be possible using 3C+E cable or 4 core flex, but check PIR switching ratings (each PIR should be capable of switching the total load of 3 lights on its own. eg. 3 lights at 500W, each PIR should be rated at 1500W)

Yes crafty, and if any of them 3 pirs go off all the lights in series are activated

This is very easy if you buy the right PIR lamp. Some are advertised as being able to do it, so will have the terminals ready, and come with instructions.

You may need to have a browse through a catalogue to find what you want.
