I have tv co-ax cable bunched with mains wiring cables running through the holes drilled in the joists in my house.
Is this ok, or should it be taken out and re-routed away from them?
Can this be a likely cause of tv reception interference?

It can lead to interference and also lead to a dangerous voltage being passed through the coax cables if the coax insulation is not voltage rated at the same or higher than your mains.
