Are you aware that cables have a lower current carrying capacity when installed in trunking? What load is being fed by this cable and what size MCB do you intend to connect it to?

Also the cable should not take up more than 45% of the space within the trunking.

not sure the mcb has just been replaced so hoping it will be ok how do i find out what rating the cooker is

It will be written on it and displayed as either watts or kW

It is usually found either on the rear of the cooker or inside the door.

didnt say anything but from what i found on the web its 1.8kw for the main oven and 1.5kw for the grill
