The same as any other commerical install I imagine, assess the demand, design circuits to suit current and anticipated demand and then install them using suitable wiring methods (stainless steel conduit would probablly be a good choice).
 
Nice over use of unistrut :D

Don't forget to install one of them annoying switches by the door so you can't charge your Ipod while you're out. :x
 
They are usually just mechanical - any bit of plastic will do - storecard etc.
 
Ooh, can we have the supply for every appliance controlled by PIR's mounted into the ceiling? Why waste energy on the cooker when somebody isn't standing next to it!

The place we stay at in Crete has one of these. However, the fridge socket stays on, so we just run a 16A multi-way schuko lead from the fridge socket, plug the fridge back in & use the others to charge mobiles etc...any extra load is negligible.
