I need help securing my landing stair rail so my little boy doesn't pull it down House is a victorian terraced and i think has original handrail
Loose part in question is mezzanine landing to 1st floor (3 steps) wobbles like jelly is it best to secure it with a bit of wood from the rail to the hallway wall to stop this ?

I have however had a day off today to do DIY (as you do) and have sorted by putting a piece of wood between the rail and the wall to secure it
