Wobbly wheel

I bought an old Skoda Felicia which runs really well.
But last week while driving through town, I noticed the steering wheel pulling to the left every revolution of the wheel. I thought I must have a flat tyre or something similarly obvious, but nothing to note. The problem went away. It came back again today just briefly.
Any ideas?
Thanks for suggestions.

Presumably you've done the basic tests such as tyre pressure and condition, track rod ends etc - then something deeper within is affecting the steering geometry.
Just as a wild guess I'd be looking at the condition of the lower wishbone bushes and the bottom swivel joint - if these are poor then the car decides to have a steering mind of its own!

The power steering belt might be slipping now and then, worth just checking the adjustment. If it has power steering?
