Stupid question.

Long story short:

Newly bought house.

Just noticed radiator in the front room (under window) is wonky.

Floor is concrete.

Is there any way to adjust the height of one side to even it up? I know with floor boards it's easy since there's some give in the pipes.

Is this impossible with solid floor?

Any tips would be superb since my obsessive personality will not allow this wonkiness!!

:D

Think about it logically...

One pipe is too short?

Or is the other too long ;)

:D

Thanks, I was hoping for something a little less extreme than draining the system (presumably neccesary?) and cutting the pipes...

With floorboards you could just jiggle it!

:(

There is another solution. Pull the higher side out away from the wall until it is level. OK, it might be "wonky" from the top view as well as leak all over the shop, but at least it'll save a drain down or pipe freeze to do the job properly   ;)

Are you sure its the rad ? Could be the windowsill.

The only easy solution I can think of is to fit a radiator cover.
