Wooden floorboards vs solid concrete floor?

I've got two living rooms both are wooden floors - would you lay concrete or keep the wooden floor?

Traditional, easier to lay pipes, electrical cables and internet....

The main reason for thinking of concrete is to do away with potential spaces for vermin to live as well as adjacent house cooking smells

Is rats under suspended floors a thing? Maybe if there’s an open drain but normally these spaces are totally void with nothing for them to eat
