Worcester 12i condenser issue

Hi all,

I need some help with a fault I have with my boiler. The issue is when HW is called for, the boiler fires up then goes off and repeats this for around 7 times then locks out. However this is intermittently happening and the time to lock out also varies and I have to reset. Odd thing is that the Ch works fine and never locks out when on so only happens when HW is on.
The boiler was serviced 6 months ago, had an engineer out who says it could be many things causing it,Again this is odd that work great for Ch.

Any advise would be appreciated as his suggestion was basically it would be better to get a new boiler as he could replace many parts before finding the exact fault.

WTF , don't listen to this oik as he isn't a breakdown engineer . are we talking about the greenstar model ?

Any pics of pipework/motorised valves/pump you could post up to see if anything obviously wrong with system.

To repair a boiler you first diagnostic the problem!

You don't just replace parts randomly.

He clearly has no diagnostic skills at all.

We call them parts changers!

What did boiler service entail
