Worcester 24 Ri intelligent controllers?

My boiler is being replaced with a 24 Ri but I'm a bit lost when it comes to choosing a suitable controller - the options seem pretty limited with this model, compared to the next one up 27Ri. From what I've read it seems as if to get the most from a controller I will need to have a 'diverter valve' kit installed with extra pipework. For the sake of an extra £100 for the 27 Ri I'm tempted to go for this one anyway but my plumber advises that the gas pipe may need to be made bigger for this model.

Can anyone recommend a decent intelligent controller for the 24 Ri - it doesn't have to be wireless but I'd rather not have to have additional pipework installed. As long as it regulates the heat output and can controll the DHW and DCH separately that's the main thing.

Just spoken to Worcester and the answer is - no there are no compatible intelligent controllers for the 24 Ri. So I need to go for the 27 Ri that is compatible with the greenstar wiring centre that enables an intelligent controller to be connected. I want an intelligent controller that enables the flwo temp to be modulated so I guess I must go with the bigger boiler.

I would be cautious about going with a bigger boiler, 24 kW is more than likely way oversized already. There's plenty of better boilers out there better than Worcester to consider.

intelligent controls are compatable with the cdi classic and compact range of conventional boilers sorry meant system boilers
